A lacklustre Luton Town were defeated 4-0 to Cardiff City .
The Bluebirds made a dream start with two goals in the opening 10 minutes through Sean Morrison and Mark Harris.
Kieffer Moore’s powerful header just before the hour made the result safe and Sheyi Ojo then powered home a fourth in the 82nd minute.
Cardiff go to 14th in the Championship while Nathan Jones’ Luton fall to 12th, still two points above the Bluebirds.
Nathan Jones made a single alteration to the side that drew their third consecutive match at Birmingham last time out. Ryan Tunnicliffe was brought back into a midfield diamond in place of Elliot Lee, who had to settle for a place on the bench.
The Hatters manager Nathan Jones was left frustrated after the game:”I’m embarrassed, if I’m being honest, because of the level of performance. Regardless of what we wanted to do and how we wanted to start we went 2-0 after nine minutes.
“The goals we gave away were a real embarrassment. We have to be better than that. It wasn’t a good day at the office.”
